Churches Together

Worship

Sunday morning 10.30am.

This is a lively yet reverent time with lots of families present. There is a crèche for the under 3's which operates from the beginning of the service. We worship together for the first 20 minutes at which point the young church normally go to their Sunday Club or Youth groups. The Bible is believed and preached and we use both modern and traditional songs to help us worship God and enjoy doing so!

Once a month our mornign service takes on the form of our Brigades Church parade and is an all age service.

Sunday evening 6.30pm.

This service tends to be a little more reflective and others are involved in prayer, reading, song and testimony. Once again God's Word is given central place and its teaching applied in modern and relevant ways to our lives. Once again we believe that we should enjoy coming together to worship our God.

  • Our first and Third Sunday evening our service usually follows the more traditional pattern for church worship.

  • On the second Sunday of the month our service usually takes on the form of an Open prayer and praise evening. This is an evening where folk are able to bring a reading, request a song, lead in prayer or share a thought that God has laid on their heart. It is set in an informal atmosphere of worship, where together we see where the Holy Spirit leads and directs us..
  • On the second Sunday after the evenign service, everyone is invited to stay on for Worship Jam. This is where we informally explore more of worship together. It also gives those who want to play their musical instruments an opportunity to bring them and to learn how to play and to worship throuh the gift of music.
    EVERYONE  WELCOME!

  • On the fourth Sunday of the month we now hold Messy Church 4-6pm. Messy Church is church for families who might want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians but can't cope with traditional Sunday morning church services.

The evening consists of a time of craft actvities, worship and finishes with a simple meal together.

The evening is an evening of fun, and it is inteneded that whole families of whatever size or shape attend.

(Parents please note that this is a family event to which children must be accompanied by an adult).

  • On the Fifth Sunday in a month our worship usually takes on the form or a prayer meeting around a led theme.

Please note that very occasionaly Messy Church and other activites take place on different Sundays in the month that described above in order to best reflect the churches calender. If you are visiting please contact the church office if you would like to check what format the service will be on the week that you are visiting.
