Steve has been our pastor since September 2003.

He is married to Maxine and they have two children Katie and Daniel. Before Coming to Clarence Park Steve served as an assistant minister for seven years at a Baptist Church in Leicestershire. He has also worked with Oasis trust frontline teams, Youth for Christ and in two different banks. Steve trained for Baptist Ministry at Spurgeons College, London; having previously studied for his (BA Hons) degree in theology at Trinity College, Bristol.

Adam is a member of the church who is currently studying in his second year at the Centre for Youth Ministry at Bristol Baptist College. As part of his placement Adam is working for fourteen hours a week in the church.

Prior to attending college Adam took a year out with the Cause youth project in Weston. 

Alan is our church secretary and has a dual role of firstly supporting and caring for our pastor, but also oversees those who have taken on the following responsibilities in church life.

• Church office
• Church diary / bookings
• Membership records

Jane is our church treasurer and heads up our finance team. This team are responsible for preparing and monitoring the budgets, claiming Gift aid, paying salaries and expenses, along with invoicing for hall hiring & lettings and preparing the annual church accounts.

Mandi is part of the fellowship team and focuses as a reference for church life. Please speak to Mandi if you would like to organise social events.

Mandi is also the church leader who oversees those who have taken on responsibilities of catering and small groups in our church like BuiLD, and the ladies groups. 

Mark is responsible along with our minister for overseeing those who have taken on responsibility in the following areas that help support and facilitate worship within our church:

• IT  /  PA & AV
• Tapes or services
• Music  / worship Banners
• Welcome Team

Kevin is responsible for supporting our pastor in developing the teaching and training within our church and is a contact point for:

Ann is responsible for supporting our minister in the area of discipleship courses (Stepping stones) within our church, and is a contact point for:

• House groups
• Discipleship courses
• Baptism course
• Church membership
• SHAPE (Gifting)
• Church Discipline
• Prayer
  

Alison is responsible for supporting our minister in overseeing the following ministry areas within our church:

• Parish Nursing UK
• New comers
• Prayer Breakfast
• Wedding prep
• Child dedication prep
• New comers ministry
• Puppets

Gordon has a passion for Mission and Evangelism and is available to discuss issues to do with :

• Outreach events /  evangelism
• Community links /  social action
• And World links such as
• Baptist World Mission (BMS)
• Baptist world Aid (BWA)
• Home mission (Baptist Union)

Orinthia is our youth deacon and is the voice of our youth work to our church leadership. Her areas of responsibility cover:

• Child protection
• Sunday Club / Brigades
• KK club / The Fridge
• Tots & Toddlers

Alan works alongside Mike Wedlake and co-ordinates the cleaning rota for our church premises. He is also available to do odd jobs that need doing around the church and halls.

Mike heads up our premises team who are responsible for overseeing the maintenance and care of our church premises.
