Activities Information
BOYS BRIGADE
The 1st Weston-super-mare Brigade is based at Clarence Park Baptist Church and meets every Wednesday evening.
As a company, we aim to promote a relationship with Christ through the activities and events that we run. The company is linked very closely to the church and once a month we attend the church with the Girls Brigade for a parade service which is usually led by the church minister who is also our chaplain.
On a midweek evening each section follows their own programme and themes based on the National Brigade programme which ensures a balance in the different type of activities and badge work that the different groups follow.

There is also a wide variety of day, evening and weekend activities including swimming, competitions and for those who are older our annual weekend camp.
Our meetings are split into four age groups:
-
Anchors & Juniors sections (Infant & Junior School age) meet from 6:15-7.30pm
-
Company & Senior sections (Secondary School age) meet from 7:15-9.30pm
We have a fantastic time together at BB – come and join us one week and we’d be happy to tell you a little more!
Any child or young person who is interested in seeing what we do is welcome to come along on a Wednesday evening. To find the appropriate group you may wish to contact us first to check meeting arrangements for the evening.
On arriving we do require Parents / Carers to sign a Consent Form as soon as possible to meet insurance requirements. This gives a record of contact details and agreement for the child to take part in the activities of the Company. Parents may also use this form to tell us anything we should know about the child such as medical conditions or allergies.
We keep our subs low, and we may charge for some special activities but these are often subsidised.
If you have any questions you may contact Rosie Pike our captain via our contacts page
