Sunday Club

At Sunday Club our aim is to learn more about the Bible and to grow in knowledge in a fun and safe environment.

Our usual Sunday worship begins with everyone in church for a time of family worship (about 20 minuets). This usually takes us up to the offering after which the Sunday club kids and leaders leave the service for their groups. We generally have three age specific groups, which enable kids to learn at their own level. All our teachers and helpers are dedicated to helping our kids to grow and learn together. From time to time however our whole Sunday club will join together for  a Sunday Club session in what we call an “all together” session. This is where as a whole group all the age groups will look at a topic and subject together in a fun and exciting way.

Once a month our Sunday club children stay in church for our parade service with our Boys and Girls Brigade. This is a service aimed at the whole family and is generally shorter than a usual Sunday service.

During the year we have a Christmas party that Father Christmas pops along to and in the summer we often go on outings and hold family picnics. The children also from time to time lead our Sunday morning worship helping us to understand about faith from their perspective and challenging us as we all grow in ours!

As well as learning more about God through Bible stories and activities, we enjoy games, arts and crafts, singing, and food -in various forms often features in the groups!

All of our Sunday Club leaders are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked and we have a children's advocate who the children can talk to if they have any worries at church. Clarence Park Baptist Church has a child protection policy which can be viewed by clicking on the link.

Crèche

During our Sunday morning worship, Crèche gives parents the opportunity to enjoy the church service without having to be concerned with looking after their children. It provides a safe environment for children up to the age of 3 to play together.

A dedicated team of helpers looks after and plays with the children during our Sunday morning service every week.

We have a number of families and young children at CPBC  so you can feel comfortable that we love to include our kids in the life of the church – noise and all!
